About Me
Raised in Mexico City of Canadian parents after WWII and spent many hours exploring archeological sites on the outskirts of the city in the early days of Aztec and Toltec empire locations. I return often to see and explore new developments and finds. I treasure my fondest memories of the first years 1964-1967 of the opening of the National Anthropology Museum and watching the archeologists setting up some of the displays and informally discussing the background of their finds. The English bulldog in the profile, Mr. Mitch has spent some time at various sites rooting through some of the tunnels under the Pyramids to the Sun and Moon in Tenochitlan, otherwise known as The Pyramids. I have great-grandchildren, twin boys, age 7 and I hope to be in good health and take them down to Mexico City for a lengthy stay when they finish high school. We often explore old cemetaries and church graveyards in the Montreal area and they are very keen. We never miss an episode of Time Team and I hope to wet their appetites with an interest toward anthropology and archeology. |
